Officials with Boyd's Speedway will be hosting an open practice in preparation for the 9th Annual Cabin Fever 40 on FRIDAY January 27. The pit area will open at 3:00 p.m., with practice going from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A pit pass for the practice will be $20, while admission in the grandstand area is free.

There goes the track , don't know why tracks want to wear the track out the night before the race

this is when the new safety rules take effect correct?

I've never understood why tracks have a practice the night before a big race... it seems like promoters want the track to be junk, and this being a day race anyway, I don't get it. Oh well, I'll still be there!! lol

Never understood it eather cept easy way to take money in an not have to pay much out.

Practice the night before race night is all about money, and I understand why they do it, but it is hard to have a decent race track the night after practice!

just be glad there is a race to go to Saturday.
