Newsome Raceway Parts Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman Week 2 Preview

ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Six races in two states are on the schedule of events for Week 2 of the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman Division. The Week 2 competition begins tonight with one race, and five races are on the slate for Saturday night.

North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL will host its first of two Week 2 Modified Sportsman Division races tonight and will come back for the second race on Saturday night. Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, and Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN will also have Saturday night races.

Seth Johnston of Santa Fe, TN and Scottie Hiett of Wedowie, AL share the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman Division National point lead after 50-point victories in Week 1 competition.

Drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman Division will compete for both a weekly point fund and a National point fund over a 22 Week season that runs through November 1. A driver will count their best 11 weekly point races for their National point total.
