No offense intended to any of the other drivers still on the tour but is there enough “star power” to still put fans in the stand?
The drivers I care and root for don't follow either series now so there's that. Unless you count the XRSS. Fergy, Madden, Davenport, Owens, and Overton doing their own thing. McCredie about the only "star" LOLMS driver I still root for.
The Rocket1 switching levels the playing field among the WoO drivers left, but WoO lost the last power team it had left.
If I was WoO I would be courting Hudson O'neal HARD.
I thought this was some BS until I saw Ben’s twitter post. WOW!!! Is all I can say
Rocket1 is DQ’d by WoO on Friday for a droop rule violation.
Rocket1 announces a switch to the Lucas Oil series the following Tuesday.
Coincidence? Or sour grapes?
But won on Saturday. I would have never thought Mark would have switched.
I don't believe it had anything to do with the dq. Sheppy let the cat out of the bag Friday before they qualified.
i really dont see rocket one leaving woo
Outlaws wants a piece of camping/parking revenue at tracks (is what I’m hearing)
Fly, what's that have to do with rocket leaving for lucas ?
I truly think they opted for Lucas because they are leading Lucas points and they were not leading WoO points. Also, there probably is a bit of a be careful what you wish for attitude behind it too.
Pretty obvious it’s just a business decision. Lucas has at least 1 $50,000 to win race on the schedule every month, plus they don’t have to go to Bristol again, it’s the right move
There are several $50,000s they would have missed close to the shop if they stayed with WoO. Along with already leading the points and needing a reset, this seems like an easy decision to me.
I'd say news of the departure put them on the same tape measure as everyone else.
Smart and logical move for B-Shepp. With so many top drivers off the tours, Lucas is going to be the only top tour. WOO may still exist but it will have to re-invent itself to draw top drivers and I do not see that happening.
Small more regional tours will still exist, though IMO
I'll probably skip the PDC this year. Just another weekly event.🙄
