Gerrald, Lee, Perkins, Winchester, and Brown Ponderosa Speedway Winners

Junction City, KY- June 2, 2017- Ponderosa Speedway would present a full racing program of weekly racing series competition on Friday evening and feature event winners included Tripp Gerrald of Lexington, KY in Super Late Models, Victor Lee of Danville, KY in Pro (Crate) Late Models and Lee would be victorious in Open Wheel Modifieds, Robby Perkins of Ezel, KY in KDRA Super Stocks, Danny Winchester in Stock Four Cylinders, and in Mini-Cup/Cyclones.

Tripp Gerrald would take the lead at the drop of the green flag in the 25 lap Super Late Model feature and would never be challenged as the youngster would drive to his first-ever Super Late Model career victory. Tommy Bailey would win a spirited mid-race battle with Derek Fisher to claim the runner-up spot, while Fisher would finish third, while Donnie Sullivan would complete the finish.

Victor Lee would lead flag-to-flag to score the win the Pro (Crate) Late Model main event, with James Rice holding off the charges of Jeff Watson to claim second, while Watson would settle for third. Connor Meade and Elliott Despain would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten would be Clayton Turner, Gary Yeager, Derek Bottoms, Timmy Taylor, and Brian Wooldridge.

Victor Lee would double-up on the night and score the win in the Open Wheel Modified feature contest as well, with teammate Ryan Thomas finishing second, while Peyton Harlow would wind up in the third position. Blake Brown and Aaron Ratliff would complete the top five finishers.

Robby Perkins would score his second consecutive victory in the KDRA Super Stock division by winning the feature contest. Bartley Grant would finish second, with Corey Lewis claiming a third place finish. Terry Cheeks and Edwin Bentley would complete the top five.

The Stock Four Cylinder feature contest would see Danny Winchester grab the checkered flag over Tim Brummett, while Dalton Cox would finish in the third position. Eric Morrison and Brady Lear would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Chris Noe, Charles Burton, Trace Wilson, Brian Moore, and Dylan Stevens.

The Mini-Cup/Cyclone feature event would see Blake Brown lead all ten laps of the feature contest and score the victory. The father and son duo of Jason Hinkle and Jason Hinkle, Jr. would finish second and third, with Dylan Rutherford completing the running order.
