FANSFund Wraps up a Very Successful 2015

New Richmond, WI (August 7, 2015): The FANSFund team wrapped up another successful season at the 28th running of the USA Nationals. Eleven of the 12 drivers that were invited to receive financial support through this year’s FANSFund voting process were able to attend and participate in this year’s events. Unfortunately Dan Schlieper was not able to attend due to a medical situation outside of his control.

The exciting 12 lap FANSFund Dash was run Friday night, July 31st, with 4th starting Billy Moyer coming out on top for a popular win in a race that saw 11 drivers competing for a purse of $22,750 that paid the winner $2,500 and the 11th place driver $1,750, the top 6 finishers all went home with $2,000 or more. Finishing order for the dash is as follows:

The ever popular FANSFund luncheon was held Saturday afternoon August 1st at 12:30 in the Cedar Lake Arena with our sponsors, fans and the FANSFund drivers and their crews in attendance. This was another fun event with those in attendance receiving a FANSFund t-shirt, a nice lunch, an up close meet and greet and autograph session with the drivers, and were eligible for numerous door prizes, including driver door panels and numerous other driver t-shirts, hats, etc. At the luncheon the drivers were brought up one by one, received their pay for the FANSFund Dash, asked to say a few words, and draw some raffle tickets which allowed many of our fans to go home with some extra memorable door prizes. Thank you to the drivers and sponsors that donated the items for the raffle.
