FANSFund Voting Taking Shape

New Richmond, WI (June 11, 2016): With a little over 5 weeks to go until voting ends the driver fund has now surpassed $5,600 and driver voting is starting to take shape. Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL currently sits atop the voting with Joey Moriarty from Phoenix, AZ sitting 2nd, and Jake O’Neil of Tucson, AZ in 3rd. Other drivers receiving votes so far are: RC Whitwell, Steve Francis, Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth, Cody Mahoney, Jake O’Neil, Jason Papich, Ray Moore, Ricky Thornton Jr, Scott Bloomquist, and Tyler Erb. Fan donations and driver voting typically heats up on Masters weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway and the FANSFund team will be out in force doing 50/50 and taking fan donations and driver votes on Friday June 17th and Saturday June 18th. Masters weekend brings a great mix of UMP Summer Nationals Late Model racing along with the high flying USMTS Modifieds. This is a great event that you won’t want to miss! If you can’t be at Cedar Lake Speedway that weekend you can watch live coverage on www.DirtonDirt.com.

We have a good group of new drivers that have shown interest in participating in this year’s FANSFund. If you know of other new drivers that are interested please send us an email at clsfansfund@yahoo.com with the driver name and their contact information and well get them added to the drivers interested list.

Donations can be made online at www.FANSFund.com/donations/ or by clicking on the Donate tab from the home page. For every $5.00 donated you receive 1 vote. For a $30.00 donation fans are eligible to attend the FANSFund Luncheon where they’ll receive a FANSFund T-shirt, be able to meet the FANSFund drivers and get their autographs, receive a nice lunch, and be eligible for other raffle prizes. The Luncheon is Saturday August 6th at 12:30 PM in the Cedar Lake Arena. Voting ends at midnight July 17, 2016 but donations will be accepted through August 4, 2016; donors will no longer be able to vote, or be eligible for the luncheon or a T-shirt after July 17th.
