First of all from Owner, track promotor, Brandon Hardgrove, and track staff would like to thank everyone for the support and turn out this past Saturday at Lake Cumberland Speedway. In the words of Mr. Hardgrove late Sunday afternoon, "It was huge". Mr. Hardgrove also stated early Sunday morning, " Thank you racers, friends, and family for your tremendous support at Lake Cumberland Speedway tonight. It took so much to make this all possible but wow it was bigger than I could have ever dreamed! Packed house".
Lets do it again. Lake Cumberland Speedway is set to present to the race fans and competitiors, Round #2 at the Lake Cumberland Speedway better known as the "House of Hardcore Mayhem" this Saturday night April 22, 2017. Once again the Late Models will pay $1,200 to win, Open Wheel Modifieds $700 to win, KDRA Super Stocks $500 to win, Stock Four Cylinders $300 to win. Activites will get underway beginning with hot laps, time trials, heats, B-mains (if necessary), and feature events for all divisions.
Gates will be scheduled to open for pits and grandstands at 4 pm, while hot laps will begin around 7 pm. Drivers meeting will take place around 5:45 pm. General admission ticket for the grandstands will be $15 for adults with ages 12 and under free, while a pit pass will be $30 with children ages 10 and under $15. Also those that were in attendance for the opening "Spring Shootout" Saturday will receive $5 off the general admission ticket in the grandstands if you show your armband from Saturdays event.
There will also be press release coming very soon with the race results from this past Saturdays events.
