Date Change For Tri-Sanction Ultimate Super Late Models At Beckley

CARNESVILLE, GA – There has been a date change for the Ultimate Super Late Model Tri-Sanctioned event at Beckley Motorsports Park in Beckley, WV. The $4,000-to-win race that was originally scheduled for April 7 has been moved to Friday night, June 2. This is to give the new owners of Beckley Motorsports Park an opportunity to be better prepared for this mega-event.

The June 2 race at Beckley Motorsports Park will be a Tri-Sanctioned race with three of the four Ultimate Super Late Model Series Super Late Model Series Regional Divisions. Competitors from the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region, the Battle of the Bluegrass Region, and the Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Mid-Ohio Valley Region can earn points at this race.

“Robert Mooney, his family and crew have been doing a complete makeover of Beckley Motorsports Park, and the weather has got them a little bit behind schedule, so we have decided to move the Ultimate Super Late Model race from April 7 to June 2,” Ultimate Founder and CEO Stan Lester said. “They need to get a few races under their belt before putting on such a big event. I know they want to do it right, and I have confidence that they will.”

The June 2 $4,000-to-win race at Beckley Motorsports Park will be held in conjunction with the $20,000-to-win USA 100 Presented By Aaron’s at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA on Saturday night, June 3. This will also be a Tri-Sanctioned event for the Ultimate SE, Ultimate BoB, and the Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Ultimate MOV/Regions.
