East bay......
Most everybody is just gonna day their local track.
I wish east bay was my local track........
I haven't really ventured too far from this area but my Top 3 in no order would be:Tyler County, Port Royal and Eldora. East Bay is definetly on the lit for next year(hopefully). Lernerville is near and dear to my heart so I'll throw that in there as an alternate.
Fairbury
Eldora
Tyler Co
Eastbay
Port Royal
Nothing beats Eldora. From the fan experience to the level of racing, hands down.
Without a doubt i-55 Raceway pevely mo
Scotland County Speedway, Memphis, Missouri ( my new favorite dirt track )
A little under a two hour drive southeast of Knoxville, about 100 miles !
Track was awesome and smooth as a spank babies a$$, cars could run anywhere at this place, 4-5 wide with the mods, food was dammed good, I highly recommend this place to anyone out that way !
Ok Tank, laugh your a$$ off at me for choosing this outa the way place, like the ol saying goes " don't knock it, till ya try it "
I know it's not a late model track but it is dirt.... Millbridge- If you are around Charlotte on a Wednesday night you can see some great racing with winged karts and mini-sprints. You never know who might be racing, last night I believe Christopher Bell won....
When we consider all aspects which include, quality of the track, quality of the racing, quality of the competition, overall quality of the facility which includes track preparation, parking, grandstands, concessions, PA system and announcer our nod goes to Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, California.
There are tracks that may have more atmosphere and tracks that may have more consistent racing quality but when the entire experience is considered The PAS is tops.
Eastbay,Marshall town, Fairbury, eldora, knoxvile, macon . In no particular order
Don’t mean to be an a- -, but the thread topic is “best dirt track” (singular) - not tracks (plural!)
I think it would be a more revenant thread if folks just listed 1 track as bbq, cirf, m. Magic,50dixon,chadly have done. It makes you have to think a little harder as to which is really your favorite track.
Don’t mend to offend anyone!!
Fox, does it hurt your feelings that bad that I listed 5? Impossible to pick the best dirt track in America, there's too many good ones. I also left I-80 and Knoxville off so you can make it 7 that I listed.
Competitive racing I say Fairbury for facilities it’s Lucas Oil Speedway.
But the bogus cancelation of the Dream may tarnish their reputation. They should have held a 3 day peaceful protest of the lockdowns starting today since all states have openly stated that protests are completely acceptable. There is absolutely no difference between race fans peacefully gathering and what's going on around the country, except that we wouldn't loot and riot.
Macon. but as I said before haven't been to every track in USA so can't say. Like previously said there's that hidden gem that many don't know about. Just like fairbury was 7 years ago. I love to hear about the hidden gems. gearhead why you on hear? don't you have somewhere to protest at? this is racing forum not your b.s. anti government crap
Wytheville, VA.
Sorry your right. Big e from a all around perspective
