Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Week 1 Preview

ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Week 1 of the 15th season for the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division begins this weekend with 12 races on the schedule of events. There is one race on Friday night and 11 races on Saturday night in five different states.

Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS opens the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series season on Friday night. Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, LA will be in action on Saturday night and is one of two new tracks to the series. Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC is the second new series track for 2020, and they will also run on Saturday night.

There are two tracks returning to the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series after being absent for several years. Crate Racin’ USA welcomes back Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN, and Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS with Saturday night Late Model action.

Returning tracks to the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series for 2020 with Saturday night Late Model Division action are Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN, Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, and Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN.

Drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division will compete for both a weekly point fund and a National point fund over a 22 Week season that runs through November 1. A driver will count his best 11 weekly point races for their National point total.

The 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division National Champion will earn $10,000. Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS is the defending Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division National Champion.
