A Diamond in the Rough I Do Believe.
^^^^^^^We have watched them race a bunch, whole family deal is really cool^^^^^^^^^
They have been a staple of the racing community in our region for as long as I can remember.
Daulton and brother Ethan started racing in the Young Guns class at Dublin (NC) Speedway. In order to reach them, their cars had 2X4 wooden blocks on each pedal. Daulton has won in everything, every class he's ever driven.
Man those were good times there, the thing I remember the most was how they were always working on the cars, getting them ready to race and how mature they handled themselves as youngsters.
This will sound kinda corny, but watching them both race and grow into the young men they have become makes me proud for and of them. ….I’m sure their parents must be beaming.
Solid racing family.
He was good last year, I look for him to be even better and more consistent this year!
He shows lots of speed but can’t seem to put a whole race together yet. That consistency will come soon.
Man isn’t that the truth…..
If I remember correctly: Overton recommended him for the ride because of his strong work ethics and abilities??
Wilson has been impressive so far especially this only being his second year.
I remember seeing them in a mustang Mach 1 pure stock real early on, was something I rarely saw at a dirt track and thought it was cool.
Big Perm might be one of the best nicknames yet.
Its a shame, they had their backup truck, trailer, racecar stolen last night outa the motel parking lot!
It was posted on GI site this morning. Ford dusky truck, 38’ S&S gooseneck trailer and a Longhorn by Wells racecar.
I believe that was Ethan’s stuff the way it read…….thieves suk.
Last yr some scum bag stole hauler and took the cars and burried them in a pit on his bosses property. Im sure some remember this
