great people, have done alot for the sport, just don't have the words
So she has freakin brain cancer, what does Joe have? Cancer is just awful, and until it hits you close to home, you don’t realize how bad it can be how quick.
They sure did a lot for racing for sure.
Prayers for them both.
I read online that Joe passed away not too long ago. Thoughts and prayers to his family, and especially his wife and her own health issues.
Yes, DoD reported he passed.
I had no idea they have a 4 year old daughter, that is just heartbreaking. One parent has passed, other is in bad shape. Hopefully Mrs Garrison pulls through for their little girl.
I have family that lives across the street from Joe's daughter. The daughter might be 30 at most, and has two small children of her own. Just a sad deal.
All our families have been impacted by cancer, and most of us multiple times. What the Garrisons are going through is devastating. It’s heartwarming however to see the outpouring of love for them all over Facebook, and social media in general.
Thoughts and prayers for the Garrison family. RIP Joe.
