Thursday update: We going into this weekend with plans to be racing Sunday. Our assumed scenario is that it stops raining before the sun comes up Sunday and we do our "dry it out" routine all day Sunday. Having been down this path a few times in the past, under that scenario racing would start a little late. So let's go ahead and move start times back by a half hour to 6:30 now with hot laps at 6:00. Between now and Sunday the forecast could get better.. or it could get worse. We will know what it does when it does it. But our intention is to race Sunday if we can because it looks to be dry the later we get into the day.

I can't remember ever calling a rainout the day before the actual race... but there's a first time for everything. I don't think this one's gonna dry out by tomorrow night by just running it in a little before hot laps. Have a great weekend and try not to float away. We will see you next week. There's a chance we try to put together a practice mid-week. There have been some requests for it. I need to check what night the little kids aren't playing soccer in the parking lot.
