Newsome Raceway Parts Weekly Racing Series Late Model Week 10 Preview

ADAIRSVILLE, GA – There are ten races on the Week 10 schedule of events for the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division. A list of the Week 10 events is listed below.

Drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division will compete for both a weekly point fund and a National point fund over a 22 Week season that runs through November 1. A driver will count his best 11 weekly point races for their National point total. The 2020 National Champion will earn $10,000.

With just a couple of weeks until drivers start getting to the 11 Week mark of their respective seasons, the Series like to use a driver’s Weekly Point Average (WPA) to see who’s hot and who’s not in the Top 20 of the point standings. A driver may be high in the point standings just because they have competed in more weeks than another driver.

Bryson Mitchell of Russellville, AL leads the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model standings with 428 points compiled over nine weeks. He is fourth on the WPA List at 47.56. Jeremy Idom of Hattiesburg, MS is second with 426 points over nine weeks, and he is fifth on the WPA list at 47.33.

Tootie Arnold of Meadville, MS is third in the standings with 416 points over nine weeks and ninth on the WPA list at 46.22. Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN is fourth in the standings with 392 points earned over eight weeks. That gives him the highest WPA at 49.

Scott Ladner of Lumberton, MS is 11th in the standings with 339 points earned over seven weeks. That gives him the second highest WPA at 48.43. The number of weeks raced and the WPAs have been added to the Top 20 of the point standings posted on the web site at www.crateracinusa.com.
