God speed Mike Head, a class act. I had the ultra privilege to interview him twice at TST, the historical aura of that man was immense.

I believe we shared the track a time or two down in Florida. I'll always remember "WWJD."

R.I.P. prayers for the family
Truly one of the best in his time. Hard racer and always exciting to watch. Spent many nights watching him race with all the great ones. Always one of my favorites. God bless and prayers for the family.
Thoughts and Prayers to the family a true gentleman he was.
RIP Mike. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
Sorry to hear Mike Head has passed away. My condolences to the family. Mike was a hard racer who was willing to talk to a fan like the fan was an old friend. I remember first meeting Mike at a race in Florida many years ago. He was a true racer and just a nice person off the track. I only saw Mike race once , but he left a great impression on me and I followed his racing in the print media.
RIP. I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing away. All of his family and friends have my prayers.
Very sad to hear.
Take a look on DoD, a lot of great pics of Mike.
At least he can see his wife and Mike Jr again. I feel the pain of his daughters and grandchildren, it sucks losing your Dad/Pa Paw.
Condolences to his family and friends.
My favorite memory of him was at Penton, Al. in the early 90's I think. Big wreck on the initial start. Head comes in with the left rear shock broke off the car. Crew guy tells him it is gone. Head tells them to duct tape a wheel chock to the frame rail over the axle tube. Goes back out and wins the race. After the race everybody was like "how did that happen?". Head said, "that left rear just holds it up in the pits." He was a great guy and will be missed.
