Legends Schrader And Stokes To Team Up For Possum Town Grand Prix

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Mike Vaughn Racing has become the first entrant with two legendary drivers in Vaden Chevrolet sponsored Open-Wheel Modifieds for the Annual Possum Town Grand Prix at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS on November 25-27.

The Cartersville, GA-based team will enter a pair of Modifieds in the Thanksgiving Weekend event for former NASCAR star and two-time USAC Champion Ken Schrader, who will team with Mississippi racing legend Johnny Stokes. Both cars will be sponsored by Vaden Chevrolet of Savannah, GA with Schrader in the #9 car and Stokes in his customary #1 machine.

Schrader and Stokes will reunite after their November 2020 roles as teammates in the Vaden Chevrolet Modifieds at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. Stokes won the race and Schrader finished fourth. Schrader joined an impressive list of winners with Mike Vaughn Racing on October 10 when he drove the #9 Vaden Chevrolet Lightning to victory at Rome Speedway in Rome, GA.
