Ray Cook Climbs Inside of Top Ten in Fall Brawl 40; Ponderosa Doubleheader Next

(CLINTON, TENNESSEE) The Advanced Motorsports team and driver Ray Cook ventured to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia on Saturday evening, October 22 for the 'Fall Brawl 40,' which was sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Ray posted the twelfth quickest time overall during the qualifying session prior to picking up the victory in his consolation event. After starting the $4,000 to win main event from the outside of the sixth row, Ray was able to work his way past a trio of competitors during the caution-free 40-lapper en route to a steady ninth place performance. While the #53 team will sit idle over the October 28-29 weekend, they will start preparing for a pair of special events at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky on November 4-5. The unsanctioned ‘Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial’ will kick things off on that Friday night with a $3,000 to win shootout. On Saturday evening, the Southern Nationals Bonus Series will roll into the “Pond” to preside over the annual ‘Fall Classic,’ which boasts a $10,000 top prize.
