What a race...right up there with the 2006 world 100 imo....
A perfectly balanced race track tonight.
just proves a dirt track is always better than a dirtphault track!
kudos to the track prep team from fairbury!
another fantastic LM A main. not even mad booby won.
Davenport, who looked from the first night as if he might just sweep the week, had to be disappointed not to even get the minimum bonus $ but you'd never know it from the interviews. Always humble and never pithy he's a good old Southern boy from Georgia and comes over as such.
Refreshing compared to some of the smart azz winners (and losers) in some sports. Thought it was another good main tonight.
Don't think it ever rubbered up
That kind of track and racing will fill your stands. Track owners take note. Whoever prepped Vado needs a medal. Good job all.
vado track prep crew is second to none. proof slick top to bottom isnt the answer to good racing
High level talent on display all over the place last night……best Sunday night television in years.
And no mention of aero! A really nice race track, seemingly just the right size for these cars.
One of the best races I’ve ever watched.
It doesn't get much better than that.
I enjoyed watching all six nights. Just a shame they don't get much of a crowd. Saturday's crowd was probably the best they have had in two years holding the event. It would be nice if SATURDAY'S CROWD was the normal attendence. Certainly could not ask for any better racing. Heck even some of the Modified features were good.
Regarding Vado track prep, this was posted Jan. 2nd on the Fairbury Facebook page. Kudos to the FALS team!
Matt Curl and a few of our guys are in New Mexico..... Chad Bauman, Lewis Breeden and Cullen Breeden are all working in Vado getting ready for racing the next couple weeks. You can watch every night live on FloRacing.
Terrific racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday IMO. Can't get more exciting than Sunday. Monday - Wednesday were also pretty good. Congrats to all the clean, great, driving by all competitors
That kind of racing and racing surface could spoil people and open some eyes....
Watched all six nights and never disappointed. That was some great track prep.
Out of the gate it would appear that Longhorn does indeed have the hot hand for the national tours. All the rest have their work cut out for them. As I watch Garrett Alberson I often wonder how much better he would be in one of those cars. I know he is very loyal to his brand and does his best with it, but I wonder. Bobby Pierce sure is going to be fun to watch this year. Kyle Larson is probably the best wheelman this country has right now. Reminds me of the old days of guys like Foyt, Andretti, Rutherford and the guys who did everything from Indy, LeMans, stocks, down to midgets and everything in between. He can jump into anything and be entertaining.
