Mark tweeted a rock broke a brake bleeder valve off during hotlaps or qualifying. They didn't have brakes during qualifying. They couldn't recover from it. Seems like track position played a part in the event anyway.
Sheppard was 2 tenths off Owens over the final 10 laps. Bronson had a 6 tenths gap on him, so not holding him up.
