Best kept secret in racing.
lurker, I've done a little investigating on Non Wing World Championship racing and about all I've been able to find is that the cars are wingless 600 c.c. open wheel cars that race on the 1/8th mile track at Peru, Indiana. Are these cars based on midget chassis' or are they a totally different animal from any other division? Do any of the classes at the Tulsa Shootout include these cars that race at Peru? Are they mostly kids under a certain age or are there adults racing these machines, as well?
As near as I can tell these cars race for tidy little points fund.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
Totally different. A 600cc micro chassis is smaller than a Midget chassis. They area also same type of car that you would see as the support class at select POWRi midgets shows. The Hyper Racing website is a good source for car differences.Quote:
