Winter Freeze XIII To Have $2k-To-Win Street Stock And Modified Races

SYLVANIA, GA – Winter Freeze XIII at Screven Motor Speedway on February 2-4, 2023, will feature Savannah Car Rentals $2,000-to-win $200-to-start races for the Street Stock and Modified Divisions Presented by Vaden Chevrolet of Savannah, GA. The Street Stocks and Modifieds will run under Crate Racin’ USA rules.

On Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4, there will be 30-lap races for each Division each night. The purse for each race in each Division will be $2,000-to-win; 2. $$1,000; 3. $700; 4. $550; 5. $500; 6. $435; 7. $375; 8. $350; 9. $325; 10. $300; 11. $275; 12. $250; 13. $225; 14-24. $200.

The Tow Money for non-qualifiers each night that start a B-Main Race is $25 and the Entry Fee each night in each Division is $75. There will be an Open Practice Session on Thursday, February 2. Gate times and the on track schedule of events will be announced soon.

Each entrant in both the Street Stock and Modified Divisions will be eligible for a drawing to win a Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine from Vaden Chevrolet of Savannah, GA. The drawing will take place on Saturday, February 4.

Former Street Stock World Champion Johnny Stokes of Columbus, MS will compete in both the Savannah Car Rentals 30-lap Street Stock and Modified races Presented by Vaden Chevrolet. Stokes will drive the #1 Vaden Chevrolet Modified. Former NASCAR star Ken Schrader of Fenton, MS will compete in the Savannah Car Rentals 30-lap Modified races Presented by Vaden Chevrolet in his #9 Federated Auto Parts Special.

Veteran Motorsports Official Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA will serve as Race Director for the Savannah Car Rentals 30-lap races Presented by Vaden Chevrolet for the Street Stocks and Modifieds. Jason James of Taylorsville, GA will be the Technical Director under the tutelage of Tim Sims. Barney Miller of Cartersville, GA will serve as Pit Steward and Veteran Announcer Roby Helm of Etowah, TN will call the action for both Divisions.
