Race Format

STOCK CARS

Qualifying Nights

Every time racers hit the track on their qualifying night, they will earn Qualifying Points.

Qualifying – 400 points are awarded for quick time, 398 for 2nd, 396 for 3rd, 394 for 4th, 392 for 5th, etc.

Heat races will be lined up by qualifying with a invert of 6-8 cars (determined by overall car count and number of heats). Passing points will determine the lineup for the mains and be added to their Qualifying Points total.

Heat Races – 200 points will be awarded to the heat race winner, 197 for 2nd, 194 for 3rd, 191 for 4th, 188 for 5th, etc.
2.5 points are added for each car passed compared to official starting position. Full passing points chart will be released for anyone to easily calculate.

E Mains – 2 E Mains of 22/23 cars will be run. The Top 2 from each will transfer into the D Main. 3rd place gets 158 points, 157 for 4th, 156 for 5th and so on.

D Main – 1 D Main of 24 cars will be run. The Top 4 will transfer into the C Main. 5th place gets 202 points, 200 for 6th, 198 for 7th and so on.

C Main – 1 C Main of 24 cars will be run. The Top 4 will transfer into the B Main. 5th place gets 252 points, 250 for 6th, 248 for 7th and so on.

B Main – 1 B Main of 24 cars will be run. The Top 4 will transfer into the A Main. 5th place gets 312 points, 310 for 6th, 308 for 7th and so on.

A Main – 1 A Main of 24 cars will be run. The winner will receive 400 points, 398 for 2nd, 396 for 3rd, 394 for 4th, 392 for 5th and so on.

Finale

The Top 16 in Qualifying Points between both Qualifying Nights will transfer directly into the $100,000-to-win Feature. Tiebreakers are determined first by qualifying main finish, then time trial rank.

The rest of the field will be split into Alphabet Soup based off their Qualifying Points totals. The same tiebreaker rules apply.

Yea I'll believe this after it happens. The entry fee and back gate is going to have to support that kind of purse. Your going to get drivers that have no business being in a stk car.

In less than 24 hours the entries for this race are already sold out at 250 and $500 fee per entry.

Well $500 entry fee and 250 entries = $125K. Then add in all the $50 each pit passes.

What a joke, this track cannot support this type of event, gonna be follow the leader. Of all the tracks in this area they pick Farley? Davenport, Dubuque, Tipton, Independence, West Union, Marshalltown, but Farley? lol.........

A local track had a street car championship special one year at the end of the season, and the late model champ put a legal motor, legal tires, and few other modifications on his late model car and ran it in the feature race. And won the race.

Mastersbiltracer on here probably knows that story. lol

I'm not sure now if he did win the LM point championship but he did win several titles.

He paid a price. They awarded him Hobby Stock Driver of the Year, at the banquet.

Mod thus needs to be in the dirt stock section nothing to do with late models.
