Richmond Raceway’s AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals $2,500 to win Saturday August 19
Richmond, KY- August 13, 2017- Richmond Raceway track promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will return with racing action at the 3/10-mile semi-banked clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” this Saturday August 19 as the track will present the 3rd Annual AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals, paying $2,500 to win, along with a full racing program for the Sonic Late Models, Eagle Financial Services Open Wheel Modifieds, and Baker Iron and Metal Stock Four Cylinders.
Richmond Raceway will present the 3rd Annual AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday August 19 with the featured event seeing the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks race for $2,500 to win. Also on the racing program at Richmond Raceway on Saturday August 19 will be the track’s Sonic Late Models paying $1,500 to win, the Eagle Financial Services Open Wheel Modifieds paying $1,000 to win, and the Baker Iron and Metal Stock Four Cylinders paying $500 to win. All divisions, except for the AR Bodies KDRA Super Stocks will utilize the practice/time trial combo format to determine heat race starting positions. Richmond Raceway also uses transponder timing/scoring and the rental fee for a transponder is $10. RACEceivers are also mandatory and must be is use by drivers anytime they are in their cars out on the track. Also of note, drivers are encouraged to arrive early and need to be at the track no later than 5:30 p.m. if possible.
Activities for the 3rd Annual AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday August 19 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the general admission area gates set to open at 4:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 5:45 p.m., with practice/time trial laps set to get underway at 6:15 p.m., and the first green flag to start the racing action will wave at 7:30 p.m. All times EDT. Ticket prices for the August 19 AR Bodies KDRA Super Stock Nationals in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free. A pit pass will be $35, with children ages 6 to 12 costing $15, while children ages 5 and under are free.
Richmond Raceway is located at 328 Greens Crossing Road, just a short drive from the city limits of Richmond, KY.
