Technical Bulletin – Illuminated Signaling Devices Are Now Prohibited

ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Crate Racin’ USA officials have announced that effective immediately, all Lighted Signaling Devices that include Lighted Sticks, Light Bars, Flashlights, etc. are no longer permitted at any Crate Racin’ USA sanctioned events that include the Newsome Raceway Parts Dirt Late Model National Tour and Weekly Racing Series events.

“This move was made in an effort to make Crate Racin’ USA competition safer for Track Crews, Pit Crews, other Drivers and to promote Equal Competition,” Crate Racin’ USA Director Adam Stewart said. “We will monitor this step of the rule and should it warrant further adjustment, we might do away with any signaling devices like neon sticks, neon gloves, etc.”

Stewart said those found in violation of the new signaling rule will receive one warning, and a second violation will result in the driver of the crew in question being black flagged from the race on the track being contested at the time of the violation.
