Extra Cash, Double Points For Driver Appreciation At Mountain View Raceway

SPRING CITY, TN – Mountain View Raceway presents Driver Appreciation Night this Saturday night with Extra Cash and Double Points for the Late Model, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, Open Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder, and Front-Wheel Drive Divisions. The Junior Front-Wheel Drive Division will also run a ten-lap race at Intermission.

Pit Pass Armbands and Grandstand/Tier Parking Tickets Stubs from the August 14 rainout will be honored for admission to Mountain View Raceway this Saturday night. The racing program at Mountain View Raceway has been rained out the past two weekends, so drivers are anxious to get on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval.

The Late Model Division will pay $2,200-to-win and the Sportsman Division will pay $1,600-to-win. Beginner Sportsman Division will pay $300-to-win and the Open-Wheel Modified Division will pay $900-to-win. The B-Hobby Division will pay $600-to-win and the Thunder Division will pay $500-to-win. The Front-Wheel-Drive Division will pay $400-to-win.

The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series that was on last week’s rained out program has not yet been rescheduled. The Crew Chief’s Race that was rained out last week has been rescheduled for Saturday night, September 4.

This Saturday, the Pit Gate opens at 3 p.m. and the Grandstand/Tier Parking Gates open at 4 p.m. Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Drivers Registering after 6 p.m. will start at the rear of a Heat Race or get one lap of Qualifying. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6:15 p.m.

Pit Passes are $30 for Adults, $15 for Children 6-11, and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. The General Admission and Tier Parking ticket prices are $10 for race fans 12 and older, Children 6-11 are $5. and Children 5 and under are admitted Free. All Children must be accompanied by an Adult.
