One year ago, Speed51.com released a story about the influx of big-money asphalt Super Late Model races being held throughout North America. At the time, that list included 25 events from coast to coast. Today, that number continues to grow and now sits at 30 events paying a minimum of $10,000 to win.
Over the last five years, the number of Super Late Model races paying $10,000 or more has increased dramatically. Just a few years ago, a research project done by the Speed51.com staff showed less than 15 big-money races.
