NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 3 Round Up

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS drove the Jarrell Rigged Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to a 40-point win Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. That gives Jarrell 137 points and the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division point lead after Week 3 competition.

Jarrell has one win and four top five finishes in four races, and holds an eight-point advantage over Blake Ewing of Lacombe, LA and Stephen Joyce Jr. of Dayton, TX, who are tied for second in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 129 points apiece.

Ewing finished sixth on Saturday night at LA 36 Speedway in Lacombe, LA in the Ewing Racing Chevrolet, and Joyce ran second driving the Joyce Racing Chevrolet in NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 3 competition on Friday night at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, TX. Ewing has two top five finishes and three top ten finishes in three races, and Joyce has two wins, and three top five finishes in three races.

Adam Bartels of Cleveland, TX is fourth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 119 points after two top five finishes and three top ten finishes in three races. Bartels finished eighth on Saturday night at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX driving the Bartels Racing Chevrolet.

Kenneth Myers of Lacombe, LA is fifth in the standings with 113 points after two top ten finishes in three races driving the Myers Racing Chevrolet. Myers finished eighth on Saturday night at LA 36 Speedway. Mickey Trosclair of Luling, LA and Stuart Wilson of Milton, FL are tied for the sixth spot in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 100 points apiece.

Trosclair drove the Trosclair Racing Chevrolet to his second win of the season in as many NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division starts this season on Saturday night at LA 36 Speedway. Wilson picked up his second win of the season and his third top five finish in three starts driving the Wilson Lumber Company Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine on Friday night at Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL.

Jeff Schultea of Hempstead, TX and Wyatt Hill of Finley, TN are tied for the eighth spot in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 99 points apiece. Both drivers have one win and two top five finishes in two races. Schultea finished second on Saturday night at Cotton Bowl Speedway in the Arrow Machine Chevrolet, and Hill drove the Hill Farms Chevrolet to victory on Saturday night at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN.

David Windham of Florala, AL rounds out the Top 10 in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 98 points after two top five finishes in two races. Windham finished second on Friday night at Northwest Florida Speedway driving the Florala Pharmacy Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

In other NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 3 action, Jeff Butler of Mendenhall, MS drove the B&B Racing Chevrolet to a 50-point win on Friday night, and a 40-point win on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS. Jared Hays of Jonesboro, AR took a 40-point win on Friday night at NEA Speedway in Harrisburg, AR driving the Parrish Farms Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Randy Lovell of Kountze, TX was the winner on Friday night at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, TX driving the Factory 41 Chevrolet. Kyle Carter of Paige, TX drove the Carter Racing Chevrolet to victory on Saturday night in NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 3 action at Cotton Bowl Speedway.
