Dennis Erb, Jr. Kicks Off 30th Year of Racing Tonight at Volusia Speedway Park!

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Following a strong 2020 season headlined by a $15,000 ‘Fall Classic’ win at Whynot (MS) Motorsports Park, a World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series victory at Eriez (PA) Speedway, and a fourth place finish in the final WOOLMS point standings, Dennis Erb, Jr. is about ready to lift the lid to his 2021 campaign, which will mark his 30th year of racing! Dennis, who hails from Carpentersville, Illinois, will kick off his season in the ‘Sunshine Nationals’ at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from January 14-16. All three World of Outlaws shows at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant this weekend will boast a $10,000 payday.

From there, the Dennis Erb Racing team will tackle ten straight events sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series from January 22-February 2. Their “Speedweeks” journey will take them to All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida for a pair of showdowns, to East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida for the six-race ‘Winternationals,’ and to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida for two more contests to start the month of February.

The hectic early-season schedule for the #28 team will then culminate with the annual running of the ‘DIRTcar Nationals’ back at Volusia Speedway Park from February 8-13. Following a pair of $7,000 to win DIRTcar Racing programs on Monday and Tuesday of that week, the stakes rise with a quartet of World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series shootouts from Wednesday-Saturday, all of which will shell out $10,000 to the winner. Dennis will look to get off to a hot start on the WOOLMS trail, as he once again plans to follow the entire national touring series schedule in 2021!

Each of Dennis’ 19 scheduled races during “Speedweeks” will be broadcast LIVE in case you can’t make it south to the Sunshine State. All of the DIRTcar Racing and World of Outlaws events – including tonight’s season opener – will be available to subscribers on DirtVision.com. Each of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles across Florida will be available to subscribers on LucasOilRacing.TV.
