UMP Hornets racing Friday, July 22 @ Jacksonville Speedway

This Friday: 410 Sprints, 305 Sprints, Modifieds, Crate Late Models, Street Stocks and Hornets. Pit gates open at 4:00. Pill draw closes at 6:00, Hot Laps 6:20, Racing at 7:00.

Remember that the covered grandstand, air conditioned concession, and enclosed area under the grandstand solves most of any heat issues at Jacksonville - especially when combined with a cold beverage.

Adult admission $15, Ages 11-18 $7, Kids 10 and under Free.

We held off as long as we could hoping that the weather man was going to change his mind by just a few degrees in either temps or heat index. Unfortunately in the latest forecast he doubled down and said it's going to feel even hotter than he did before Friday... so given his confidence in his hand, we are going to fold ours and wait to try again next week.
