Friendship Speedway and NDRA Partner for 2011

ELKIN, NC (Feb. 19) – Friendship Speedway is set for a big 2011 season. Under new management of Les Roten the Elkin, NC facility has an ambitious schedule the fans and race teams of the area will be treated to a fantastic year.
“Les and his crew have a lot of great plans for Friendship Speedway,” said NDRA Series Director Clint Elkins. “Les has a true passion for the sport and a long term goal to turn that passion into a place that everyone can be proud of.”
“We are excited to be part of NDRA here at Friendship Speedway, and would like Thank Clint Elkins of (NDRA) for all his help and support,” said track promoter Les Roten. “We also would like to thank the sponsors and fans of their support that have already shown us.”

Friendship Speedway will have action in five divisions of the weekly program. They will be highlighted by the NDRA Late Models. Also on the card will be the Limited Sportsman, Renegade, Four Cylinders and U Cars. The NDRA Modz will be running on the second Saturday of each month. Special events include Carolina Clash Super Late Models, NDRA ‘Road Show’, NDRA Modz ‘Road Show’ and other specials that will be announced soon.

The season opening practice will be Saturday February 26th with the second practice being held Saturday March 5th. The season opening race will be Saturday night March 12.
