Camcraft or Bullet would be good options too. I'd check lead time when shopping for a cam if it'll be a custom grind.

The prc108 is what I ran last year. Pulled hard. The second one is a bullet
We've run the 108 and 106 in several engines with very good results but they've all been 12.5 or more compression and the 108 may be a little much for a 9.5 engine. We'll know shortly as I'm just finishing a 10.5-1 355 with good heads with the 108. The 106 may be better for your application. Ours' are bought through Summit and it's my understanding that several speed shops handle these under their own brand name. Summit part numbers are SUM-CT---(fill in the number 101-110) and he cams without lifters are about $82. Don't think Karl's manufactures them but I could be wrong about that.
All of those shelf cams are made by three different OEM grinders in MI...and I have to give a thumbs up to Bullet and Camcraft, too.
Would I gain much with a new cam over this?
Can't get the images to come up so ?? I will add that with the 108 I almost always run 1.6 rockers on both intake & exhaust which bring the lifts up to .566 & .577. If You're running 76cc heads & flattops you should have plenty of clearance but always check.

Howards version of that 108 cam. Lobes are more aggresive.
What I like about Mike Jones is he can build any lift.. any duration... any LC with his equipment and computer programs. Plus you talk to the guy who grinds your cam not a telephone expert. He grinds cams for the OEM'S when they are designing new engines...
Thanks justramit and Krooser. The Howard cam is pretty close to the 108. Had a couple of their's when Howard Johansen was one of the better southern California grinders back in the '60s and '70s and was happy with them. Still buy a lot of hard core engine stuff from them in Wisconsin. Never used Jones but his reputation is excellent and I agree it's nice to talk directly with a knowledgeable guy like him. Used to do this with Schneider and Ed Iskendarian and Sig Erson and got some good stuff from all. It's a different world now and more confusing than ever.

What are you wanting out of the engine? More mid range or top end?
I would think low/mid range is more important than top end. But I could be wrong. I run a 633-650 gear on the tracks I race.
Ok what do you typically run for max rpm? In my opinion your current camshaft is too big and has to much split between the intake and exhaust which is also detrimental to mid range torque
To big? Most are running 520-550 lift. I have my chip set to 7k
I'm not talking lift you've got to much duration which makes bottom end suffer and adds top end. Most 2 barrel camshafts for your application will be between 240-250 degrees duration @.050.
My sons Jones cam is a 248 @ .050 on a 105 iirc... Pulls like a freight train but his motor has a bit more compression...
