I applaud the guy. I see nothing wrong with what he did.

This is something that I see shock builders seldom ever asking and there is a difference on where the shock is mounted and its location to the ball joint and its relationship *motion ratio to wheel...

He's won against the best in the business. Period. Watching those Carpenter boys work on dad's race car in the 2000 era was a site to see. The lug wrench was bigger than they were but they whirled...
-
Becoming a more common adjustment but you have to do other things. Its not going to work if your car isn't set to work with less drop. As the years go bye, things kinda go back to where they once...
-
Dirt racing should be about true grit, fairness, and f#*k the trophies for all mentality. Earn it or get put on the trailer. There's more controversy over provisionals than most everything else. ...

I enjoyed watching the scott bros in their modifieds. They know how its done in those. These late models are causing stormy fits. Johnny seems OK when he runs one. I don't know who the better...
-
What do you think MBR and others? Stormy perform in the Longhorn? He could be on a bicycle now and equal his current finishes. I say the main problem he's having is adapting to a car that has to...

Looks like Moyer has been beating ole Bloomers ass royally here of late. Where will Bloomer be in 6 or so years when he catches up?
LOL
Both of these guys are on top of the heap. You could...

I'm a Bloomquist fan and frankly any real race fan should be in aw of what he has accomplished racing a dirt car. Will he run like he did back in the 80s,90's and so far in the 2000's? NO. Not...

If its a metric why stock metric lowers? Is that a rule that the lowers must match? If just stock lower is the rule then I'd run the nova lowers or if any stock lower can be used I'd run ford crown...

I'm not familiar with that cam number but a dial indicator and a degree wheel will tell you what it is. Just mount it in the head and level #1 cam lobes to the valve cover rail and 0 your degree...
-
Shorten valve stem height to increase lift and lengthen to reduce. Set cam up for the lift at the valve. Cam says .630 lift and it measure .610 with zero lash then shorten the valve stem a little...

I see no reason not to let the ford engines in other than $$$. I sure know a bunch of Ford guys that are buying chevy though to meet the rules............. LOL
-
You can cut them to 1.771 and offset to make 3.595 stroke.
-
Convenience. Much easier to buy speed than produce it from your garage. That level of the sport has left home long ago. We are pretty much down to prepping tires, changing a shock or two and...

if you give me an email I can send you his setup sheet.

I was just out to the campground last week. The $50K plus campers and boats were everywhere I tell ya. They were paying all kinds of money for those camping spots and boat certifications and...

Social distance and LETS RACE! The problem is the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ters. I really see no problems with a concession stand. Take orders by phone...

Dog Hollow is advertising for May race.

I'm hoping things clear up and we can see some races celebrating the victory over this enemy.

An rpm limit rule would save $$ for sure
-
A 525 that doesn't meet GM specs isn't a 525 is it?
-
I've found you need to gear them higher. 6. Open gearing = 6.42 525 gearing
-
What I see with the 525 is that the rpm window has to be smaller. I'd take 3 all day too. That 50 pound in front of the motor plate makes them at a disadvantage to a lightweight block option open...
