That makes perfect sense to me. I appreciate your input. And that is a change that I am after as well. The car is pretty regularly snug on entry, off throttle, not terrible, but I feel it could be...

Thanks for the reply guys! Your explanation helps for sure. I kinda had the assumption that if you get the same 3" smashed load number that you would likely have a similar handling car.. I didn't...

I'm trying to wrap my head around how spring load works and how it affects the car. I'm in an IMCA modified but the late model forums have more activity. Basically what would be the difference in...

They just aren't running fasteners where the door and quarter meet on either side. I believe it is to attempt to let air out from behind the body. He raced it that way I see.

10-4. Thank you for the reply Brad!

Hey Brad, back on the air filter assembly deal. Are the gains with the Walker system due to the whole package (drop base, filter, top) or is it just from the Walker top? Is there any value to say a...

3 piece spindles are legal for IMCA A-mods. Davenport and East Moline are IMCA sanctioned.

Hey Brad, curious if you've had any experiences with the flat air cleaner bases that I'm seeing around. Any benefits or drawbacks to them? We run claim IMCA Sportmod engines on a Holley 4412. But...

Panhard mounted on left frame rail to axle housing about 4" right of the pinion.

My car has a slider on the frame side so it is adjustable in small increments. The housing side has 4 holes on it 1" apart, not a small increment adjustment.
My question is; what is more...

I appreciate the conversation that you guys have had on J-bars. I have a question and the modified section doesn't seem to have much discussion.

Does anybody have a 16 gallon fuel cell for sale? Or a cell of similar capacity? Preferably near Eastern Iowa.

Would 3/4" screw jacks be sufficient for rear springs on a sportmod? That's what my car has provisions for currently.

Looking for a Chevelle stub mod chassis near eastern Iowa. Would prefer bare or close to bare chassis but would consider roller for the right money. Looking to build a Sportmod.
-
What can be the issues caused by having too much bar angle in the LR at full drop? We have a typical northern sportmod that gets in and through the center well as it is. Once it comes to exiting the...

I run a stock Crown Vic steering box with no issues at all. Sweet pump with remote reservoir. Are you sure you are hooking all the lines up correctly?
-
In 2006 Mach1 recommends 4" offsets all the way around. All the front end components are crown victoria stock parts with the exception of the spindles that are either crown victoria with a shortened...

Where are you located? Are they IMCA stickered?

I am looking for some good 5X5 3" and 4" offset non beadlock wheels with an IMCA sticker. Preferably around the Dubuque, Iowa area. Let me know what you have.
Thanks,
Ryan
