I agree with SCR, I have a 76 Camaro pure stock, I run 3" offsets on all 4 corners on DOT tires (track rules). Get as close to even up as you can on the front (I run 3/4" front stagger), I run 2"...

I have 1 brand new sigma supreme TR in a 235/70/15 and it has plenty of grip, to my knowledge these are ONLY sold at NTB, about $76 ea.

Yes, had this same issue on a friends ministock opening nite, removed the fuel filter (was full of deteriorated fuel cell foam) and problem solved!
-
Carb issue, I had a 7448 on a 2.3L years ago and it stumbled bad on a slow start/restart. Rules made me switch to a stock ford carb and it would take off at any RPM and that was the ONLY change I...

I too am stuck on DOT tires, look in the boneyards for cheap tires, sometimes you can find ones that are like new. Lots of small SUVs like blazers or older explorers had the tall 15" tires. Seen guys...

Yes ditch the prop. valve and run lines directly to the wheels. Do you still run a power booster? If so scrap that as well.
-
Are you running Kankakee? I ran a 650 gear there years ago in my 3280# metric chassis with a 406 engine, same carb, same hoosier tires and turned 65-6700 RPMs.

All the tracks in my area require stock mounted suspension only in 4 cyl. so I have no comparison to running against coilover/tube chassis cars. I doubt a wedge nose will make any real noticeable...

I rolled over in a mustang once years ago, cant say I care to do it again...
When I had my mustang it was all OEM shocks/struts, I ran a V8 strut on RF
For rear shocks I always ran NAPA 94079...

Just curious why you need an MSD box on a stock 2300? Is this a TFI distributor? If yes, only use the top 3 wires on the plug... black wire to ground, red wire to hot and green wire to (-) side of...

I ran the fox body V8 GT radiators with the plastic tanks, and never had any cooling problems. They were free from my sponsor when I had my mustang. Im currently running those same style radiators in...

I've used the one from KMJ performance, with the clear cap/rotor, they sell for less than $50 brand new drop in ready on eBay and I had good success with it.

Try the tech section, youll get some possible causes there.
I had the same issue, low PSI in a 2.3L but it ran & had plenty of power for 2 seasons. Stay with the thicker oil.
-
I never had a leak, run all new brake lines and that shouldnt ever be a problem.
Im using that same master cyl in my camaro for 2016 and with all new lines i dont foresee any issues.
-
I always set timing at 36 deg. Also, since dave41 mentioned jets, what carb are you running?
-
Yes 87-88 Tbird is 3/4" longer and a direct fit, a 94-04 mustang works also. Its 1" longer than the OEM mustang arm.
