Need proper part number for screw in, low friction, lower ball joint for old Mastersbuilt (01 wide combo car, 8.75" tall, 6 degree) spindles. Thanks!

Hoosier mid atlantic is up to $260 each for any of the old stuff like a 28.5 rib 1300, 1325, etc. That's just crazy. I am just hoping that the local tracks in my area don't adopt this right off hand....

that's exactly what would happen. I would turn in, t hen the front end would skate, and I'd have to turn iin a second time to get car to do anything and by then it was too late. The 500 solved that...

So, older car 01 Masters wide combo..had to go all the way to a 500 RF to not bottom out my RF shock, at the prescribed 3 1/8" ride height. I was never rubbing the frame rail or anything. Car tends...

Found it...I think. Wehrs bar? Found on Performance Bodies for $90. Now, are the vertical bars always the standard width apart?

Long shot here. 01 mastersbilt wide combo. Got into small wreck. Pretty much destroyed the rear t-bar support bar for spoiler. Anyone know where I can get one or am I gonna have to make one?
Also,...

01 mastersbilt wode combo. 500 lf 450 rf. Going fastest I’ve gone. Car turned in okay, but as soon as it would set, the nose would just dart up and push like a dump truck until I could use throttle...

Strange question. When did the four bar really become a thing? Drag racers have been using it for a very long time. I know the Aztec Smith book was published in 04. Does anyone remember how this...
-
Yeah. Complete slime. Not even remotely hooked up. The water trucks have basically just pulled off and we are usually the first to qualify. And I’ve pulled pills such that I’m the first or second...

So, more j-bar angle? Raise j- bar both ends? Move ballast higher? I’m assuming newer tires that are grooved properly might help? Lots of grooves and very few of no sipes?
-
Both good ideas. I was really leaning on new tires. I really take care of my tires. I pressure wash them, check tread depth and durometer them and grind them. The nights where I have had new right...

Wayne county speedway, Orrville OH. I can finally drive the car when the track packs down..
We qualify/hot lap...track is quite often still practically mud...car literally won't do anything. step...

02 Mastersbilt 2x2 wide/combo with RR rail notched for tire clearance. Steel block, 650-700 hp engine. Usually run used tires except for occasional new RR. Finally figured out how to drive and get...

Having a problem I can't resolve, looking for ideas:
steel Dart block 406, aluminum heads, aluminum water pump. I've tried Water Wetter and Hyperwet additives. I've tried straight tap water (well...

I understand all that you ae saying. Thanks for the help. Nice to be told the reality from boots on the ground. I'm just looking to make some improvements. I imagine buying a nice selection of new...

How much of a difference do the low friction wheel bearings/low drag seals really make? Looking to make improvements in off season. Have some money, but not a ton to buy anything major. This is steel...

Just verifying. Older car, 02 Mastersbilt wide/combo. 5 holes LRU frame adjustment. Currently one down. Car wants to step out just slightly, especially on restarts, so I can't push as hard into...

It’s awesome how much knowledge is here. Billet, yes, basically 3.75” shaft showing at ride height.
When I’m bottoming the shock, what should that be causing with handling? Inconsistency?...
-
The rubber gauge on the shock was reset at the beginning of the night at the top of the shaft. It's all the way down in the cup, so the shock is actually bottoming. The frame rail does not show any...

02 Masterbilt wide combo. Finally going fast enough to see two things happen:
RR tire rubbing frame...can't do anything about that yet...
400 RF spring bottoming out. What would be the effects...

Well I was going to post this in a separate topic, but I guess since everyone asked:
I kept turning bias to the front during heat but car kept getting looser in, as in basically spin out loose. (Car...

It is right hand thread. Turning clockwise moves the right end of the bar towards the master cylinders, thus away from the rear brake. So, clockwise is front and counter is rear...thanks again
-
Perfect. Thank you. That answers it.

Wilson’s pedal assembly. Inside (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)pit style. Right master cylinder rear. Left MC fronts. Balance bar comes out the right side and...

T-bar did it. Don't know why I didn't look at that. Thanks.
