The stock TFI dist is hard to beat. No timing jumping around or advance problems with it. Been running one for 4 or 5 years, 8000-8200 every week. Never a problem.

I believe some of the early model Pinto, 70-72 had a 7 1/2 - 23 spline clutch disc. Later years were 8 1/2 - 23 spline. Parts man may be able to get a 7 1/2 if that is what you need.
