Find someone with a bert bell with both patterns on it. Set it on your chevy plate and mark the ford holes. Drill plate. Done.

I use a stud on most of mine. You do have to be careful of length on some caps. I had one that would have bottomed threads out on the bearing! Other than that I have had no issues.
