They parked the mod for the week. Broke some stuff and are focusing on the late model rest of the week. Nothing to do with off track issues.
-
It was idiotic for both of them. Running 8th &9th in a 5 lap scramble and junk 2 cars? They were not learning anything at that point, pull it in, you've got a whole Dream to go the next 2 days!!
-
No clue, but I bet he has sold more merchandise with their name on it than ALL the other Drydene guys COMBINED!!
-
Fox, he was with Vic in early 2000's. Green and white cars. He was with Vic 4 or 5 good years before Roush made him the deal to go to the Roush/Yates program. Yes end of Myers, first of Hicks eras.
-
Fox, Scott ran Vic Hill for years. I dont think Cody was involved in any of those years though.
-
Then after the races you sale the sides and quarters to fans and you've paid for the next wrap to go on. Plus souvenir sales of the one off schemes, seems like this should be revenue positive.
-
But if you are trying stuff on your brand new car, might as well try it on the non-points nights. Nothing was lost by trying on Monday at Volusia!
-
Come on Terry! Classiest driver?? Put that to a poll in the pits!!
-
One big problem I see with the Cup race is time of year. Eldora has good luck with hard, slick, dry surface for the July truck race. Here in TN we are still getting frosts in April. That clay is not...
-
You may very well be right. The Pittsburgher is the race that I saw a difference. That was the race that I finally saw Davenport HAVE to overdrive to keep up when up ro that point, Bloomquist had...
-
A lot of people forget that Scott had caught and passed Davenport in the speed department by the end of '15. If not for a couple rainouts there is a real possibility Davenport doesn't even win the...
-
Why is that a bad look?? Don't use them, hasnt in years. Why would selling unused stuff be such a bad look? Looks like de-cluttering to me.
-
Ugh, I think he's had a total hip replacement since your talk with him. I'm not saying he will EVER get to the Bloomquist of years past, but for a racer known as the best 100 lapped ever to not be...
-
He said it in the DOD interview. His foot and leg go numb.off and on. He can't set the car up cause he doesn't know if the chassis is spinning the tires or if he is causing it because he can't feel....
-
Is dirtvision started yet?
-
The race was on live TV on a super tight schedule after the rain delay. Zero time to unload car and get it ready after the b-main. Just did a start and park to get his money.
-
I'm betting he is working on the development of the new chassis. All the others are still running the tried and true and he is running one of the new jig in Mooresburg. After Vado then Florida just...
-
He was way off at the '16 Dream. Didnt come close to making the feature, then had tiregate on top of that.
-
Just a guess, but I thought he mentioned building a new jig at his shop after Randy Sweet passed. I'm guessing he is running a car off the new jig while the others have the old style frame.
-
You better recheck those stats. Absolutely ZERO chance 600,00 died in a year. From like '74-'14 2.5 million total. It's still bad but you dont die from one night at a track with somebody smoking...
-
That's just a stupid comparison!! Lung cancer isn't CONTAGIOUS!!! If you want to smoke, you put yourself in danger. If you have covid and go to the Dream, you put me in danger!!
-
They need to get Tazewell on there!!
-
Yes. That's why Bloomquist wasn't at the '95 race. I dont know if he ever got the full amount.
-
Everybody must remember that McDowell has ran tons more Ray Cook races over the last 2 years than any of the other Sweet-Bloomquist cars. He probably has a good feel for the drop rule.
-
They did not bring the Rocket1 hauler out. Mark and crew flew in and flew out getting cars ready for the pre-speedweeks test session. B5 hauled 1 car of each in his family hauler after they went to...
