Personally I prefer the T5 for durability. According to my trans. tag code list a 1352-116, T5 has a 2.14 2nd gear. I've never seen one myself. Sure would like to get my hands on one.

Are you using synthetic gear oil? I had all kinds of problems when we used synthetic. We run Type F automatic trans fluid with no problems.

The T5 bell housing is differant. Use an old RAD bell...

I was running the M86E pumps for a long time. The qaulity of the machine work got so bad I switced to the M127 pumps.

I believe 1 toothe = 16 deg on the cam gear

Finally found it F57Z-6584-A

I lost the Ford part number for the valve cover gasket. Gasket is steel reinforced rails, black in color.
Seems like the part number starts with F57?????? if I'm remembering correctly.
