You people are terrible. You guys are gonna attack the guy for being different and doing something his own way? The guy enjoys his job. Has a different style. Brings something different to racing....

I think he will do great. Ill be watching.

Got any pics of victory lane? Thanks

Typically when people just say "index" they are talking about indexing into the spring. So if LR Spring Behind you would shorten your Left Rear Upper bar and Lengthen you Left Rear Lower bar. I've...

Usually feathers when you are sliding the car. Happens a lot to drivers who carry too much speed into the corner and slide through entry and middle. RF will feather a lot when the car is too tight...

Ive hung 75lbs off 2 weight clamps before but they were vertical.. Should be fine.

Depends on how you are measuring camber gain. If your doing it by raising and lowering the control arms or if you simulating chassis movement from static to hiked up at race height. Obviously you'll...

Well "nothing special" is still capable of winning races and national championships affordably apparently. He wanted opinions on shock packages. Don't try and knock down someone elses product out of...

I've switched to DSR shocks this year and have really been happy with them. If you're looking for affordable and front running shocks check out Dylan Smith Racing shocks. Speedway now sells their 9...

Angled wouldn't make a difference. It would have to be radiused at what ever length your J bar is. Bloomquist cars have a radiused tube with slugs welded in it like that. BSB and Wehrs make a...

Why not change shocks? Dylan Smith Racing has some awesome shocks for IMCA Northern Sportmods. They make a Mud Mid and Slick package. I switched to DSR shocks and loved them.

175 on the RR with spring on housing sounds very light to me. RR 2 link drivers I've helped have always been in the 200-250 range.
-
I would trail the RR just by looking at what you got here. I really wouldn't worry about forward bite till you can get you entry fixed first.

No b/rett. Makes sense to me.

The way I see it, the LR brake mounted to the birdcage is no different to Anti Dive in the front. It's pulling on the LRL bar and pushing against the LRU bar helping to keep the birdcage indexed and...

It's the one with Hughes on the cover. 15* is what my car had in it and I see plenty of cars with more than that.
15* comes out to .93 spring rate multiplier.
So your 175 spring comes out to a...

I don't think it makes a difference at all on the rear end itself... I know angle, the toe, and height will change how well the pull bar works but moving it on left and right the little bit you can...

I've had plenty of front end hits with the 1" longer and standard Howe balljoints. Never snapped one.

If the cars built with trail then you can go by that. If the cars built with 1/2" of trail and you have your right side bars set an 1/8" longer than you'll have 5/8" trail. Find how much is built...
