Take the fuel bowl off. Turn it upside down then measure from the bottom to the float seem in the middle of the float. Set it at .835 and you will be real close.

How you can tell, the engine won't have any torque coming off of the turn and it will just feel real lazy.
There are some thing's that can be done to help that though. It can be done by booster...
