So far, the new 4412 booster signal has been very erratic in our testing. In an effort to design a base that mitigates entry turbulence and creates a more consistent pressure/velocity over the...

"Better flow and less pressure drop = less filtration."
Not necessarily. It depends on the cause of the pressure drop. In lab testing, we were able to reduce pre-filter pressure drop by a...

We recently completed the testing phase of our new race oil filters and they should be available very soon.
We were able to design a very low restriction filter can and highly efficient media for...

Thanks R3T
We'll get to work on this size.

If you have a part number, please post it. There are several listed and the pleat heights/inner diameter may be different.
Thanks

In theory, I would say this configuration could improve the profile in the tube, especially in bends.
We'd have to test a bit to determine what overall benefits may be achieved.

We'll begin work on the 10" diameter air filters. We'll get a few that you currently use for baselines and comparative testing.

What application would require a 10" diameter filter?
That diameter does limit the media area and can cause high media velocity on applications with relatively high demand.

I'd be happy to reply with test data if you think it would help. It would refute these claims immediately.
Who are these two builders if you don't mind?
Are you running the new CFD base and lid...

I would bet that the KN would produce less power as has been the case in countless pulls across all applications.
It's not correct to simply assume that higher efficiency equates to higher...

AmickRacing is correct.
That certainly does occur based on pressure differential at speed. We were never able to produce any benefit during testing.
