It sounds like you need to find someone that knows what they are doing in your area that can go look at it for you. A fellow racer perhaps?

Why do you have 2 threads going for the same problem? As I understand you bought the engine used. Did you have the pan off? What prompted you to check the oil pressure, was there a previous problem?

Go talk to your tech guy and lodge a protest. Have tech measure the stroke on the engine. Not hard to do.

Yes that is right. If you are in series then you are 24 volts which will wipe out a coil for sure. Why 2 batteries? Are you using them for ballast?

Are you running an alternator? If you are maybe check the voltage to the coil when it is running with the rpm up. Might be too high.

The combustion chambers could have been welded up and reshaped. I know the heads that Joe Stockton were doing were nicely done.
