I had read/heard somewhere a while back that the company that has the option on it hasn't been able to get the proper permits from DEP or whomever.... Not sure what the latest is....

Rockets generally are quite good on tacky surfaces. It's the smoother surfaces that they seem to be hurting on forward bite... Looked good at I-70 until they toasted the motor... ( tacky )

And the best area in the nation without tracks getting shut down, and races overlapping, etc. Excellent attendance no doubt, but the race purses are a bit better, and championship $$ too..

As far as Series attendance, NONE of the Regional Series have had perfect attendance of their top runners... Covid, compressed schedules, less $$ to win points with less races etc., tracks closed,...

The starts have not been very consistent at East Bay all week... Agree the Erb/Sheppy/JD start was a mess, but not called back??

Think I read where it will be an option in Ultimate with a 50# weight break, and possible slightly taller rear spoiler.

Had some good redraw starting spots both nights... Had to pass 2-3 cars for position all weekend... Best place to be was out front for sure as the racing was crazy in the field..

They do this every year at Volusia Speed Weeks, but you don't have to buy in advance.. Advance is great only if the weather forecast is perfect forever..

I think I'd roll the dice and go with keeping the Gap race on Thursday night... Many folks that go to NASCAR ( which is less & less all the time ) won't come earlier just to see the dirt show.. And...

Don't buy a multi-day pass... Don't save much of anything, and if it rains, that complicates things..

Mansfield has a few hotels, but I'd guess most are full already?? I booked a couple the next day or 2 after the announcement no problem, at that time.
