Just for info,I rebuild quite a few berts and at least 50% of the time the bushing needs honed bigger to get proper clearance. So what i'm saying is it has to be apart to hone anyways.

I was at kokomo and watched a well known chassis builder doing a lot of texting during the feature but he was receiving no replies. I could see his phone that well just couldn't read his texts....

There is a o-ring on the lower shaft that goes thru the case and clutch assembly. Look at a picture of a bert disassembled and you will see it.

They don't even enforce what is wrote down.

That price made me laugh.

I'm guessing they are breaking past the upper ball joint at the bend? We weld a gusset on each side by the b/j past the bend. That has cured our problem of them breaking.

Make sure your bleeders are at the highest point when bleeding or they will keep air trapped. If you are using the AFCO calipers that work on left or right by changing the bleeder around I would...

Liked watching the video. 10 cars for a feature?

Do what he says. I rebuild quite a few berts and a lot of them have the bleeder lower than the top of the bore diameter when looking into the piston bore of the tail housing, resulting in trapped air...

You have to have a really good water pump to run a triple pass rad. Double pass is all you really should use. Put a fan shroud on it if you don't have one. 4 blade fan also. Your temp will lower 40...

Last time I read the joke of UMP rules, there was a claim rule on shocks. Quit reading them a few years ago, so they may have changed.

I made my own out of alum. sheet metal. Use flange as a pattern.

Make sure you have .080-.100 gap between flywheel and idler gear. Shim accordingly. You should have no trouble then.

Heavy Duty should know since he builds Lightnings.

Yes, they are the same. May have round or oval bushings, still will bolt up.
-
40 tooth gear on pump? That's what most run.
-
Make sure you have honed the bushing for clearance with your slip yoke. I use the red high strength loctite on bushing.
