If this was one of the white GRT cars him and Westfall ran then the front ends are from Ruhlman. Pretty sure they were a GRT back half with a Ruhlman front clip.

To many tracks run on Fridays as it is. We come from Indiana and wouldn't make many trips over if they ran on Friday. Starting a little earlier may benefit Sunday which would make the racing not last...
-
Sunday, but start an hour or two earlier.

Really tightens up through center off on the gas. Very effective and sensitive, takes a while to find the sweet spot... Would never want to use on a rough track though.

We currently use nitrogen. Just seeing if bleeders or needling the tires will help reduce tire temps?
-
Has anyone in the UMP Modified world ran bleeder valves on their rear tires? Thinking this would be an advantage due to foreseeable issues with the new A40S. Also what are the advantages of needling...
-
Brian Ruhlman (at Eldora) and Jamie Lomax I believe were two that tested the new A40S at the end of last year. Guess from the sounds of it there will be a lot more H's ran this year due to the...

Usually on a semi-banked tight corner 1/4 mile track we run 1-1.5" on front and 2-3" on rear.

Anyone have or know of somewhere to view pictures of Hoffmans car he had at Eastbay?

Traveling to Vegas end of July wanting to know if there are any dirt tracks near there to catch a Mod race while I'm there?

Chain your RR to limit hike up, or if your able to drop your Left Lower bar on birdcage. Both of these will help a loose off condition. Dealt with this condition first hand.
-
Your car, just like any other modified, is getting on the bars. Its normal for your RR to hike up just like your LR. Attached is a video of our modified, look at the RR spring. Does your car wash out...

It would take roll steer out of the car and make you loose. We never go longer than the chassis builders lengths but we do shorter them if the track slicks off to tighten us out of the corner.
-
If you race IMCA get a Shaw by Taylor, we ran one in Indiana under UMP and it was a good car but driver wanted a Rocket! But a clamped up Pierce is always good in the slick.

We really only need it in the slick. Probably wouldnt use on tacky tracks. You who have tried it give it 1" of travel beyond the spring?
-
My driver seems to always be loose on exit. The rear end of the car really likes to hang out. The car is a 4 bar rocket mod. I have heard that chaining the right rear from traveling too far will...
-
Never seen such a horrible call on the scorers part until tonight. Its amazing how you put someone on the tail for spinning to avoid hitting the other cars who were checking up AFTER the caution was...
-
on an extremely dry slick track we lower our right side bars all the way down and shorten the bar length about a 1/4". shortening bar length on right side for extremely dry slick track helps a TON!
