When I bought my carb from KB a few years ago for my 604, he recommended a 650 for it. I've never once felt out motored with it, either out of the corner or down the straights. I'd say do it.

Rebuildable/adjustable ball joints are legal a long as they have a steel cap. So QA1, Howe, Speedway, CRS, Lefthander and the such are all legal. Monoball type are not.

Yes, the Speedway 3 piece "Pinto" is approved. I say "pinto" because they are actually metric spindles, with a short steering arm like a pinto spindle

The SPEEDWAY versions are, which are based on GM metric spindles, and can have a short or long steering arm.
The ARGO versions are not, which are based on AMC pacer spindles.

Rev limiter. I only noticed it when he was running the top from the end of the straight to mid corner, meaning he was out of gear and on the chip a lot, but still had his foot in it.
