How hard is it to get the 8" rubber to stay on the 10" wheels? Can it be done without beadlocks?

Olds 98s Buick electras and caddys had the 5x5 stuff too.

Maybe they're playing head games and have those deer whistles on their cars.

How far is your engine sat back from "stock"? I'm guessing those are the schoenfeld stock clip type headers? I'm just trying to learn from your pics and determine if I could use those.

Anybody using the Patriot vortecs? From what I understand they have a gm part number but are ready to bolt on.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure were allowed the bowties. There are 2 casting numbers that aren't legal I think one ends in 351 and the other 371?
But either way I guess I have some shopping...

Anybody using the 1.94/1.50 valves the vortecs come with? All my competition is running vortecs. Just wondering if I still have a chance with mildly ported camel humps. Running a 406 flattop solid...

I plan on trying the same thing. Uppers too. My main reason for the uppers is more room to raise the front where it mounts to the chassis.
