I agree. Ive been running 1 to 1 v belt for the past 3 yrs seems like ive got to get a shorter belt after a week or so of running a new set of pulleys.

Crower makes a cheater hyd. Lifter to run on a soild cam for the classes that have a hyd. Cam only rule. Havent tried it my self bur did some research on it.

I run 7400 rpms on a 2 barrel carb with small valve vortecs on a hydraulic cam. The runners in those heads are too much for a 2 barrel carb. I would also put 7/16 studs in.

Shouldn't be from loading. Prob got the t.o bearing too tight . Been driving mine on the trailer for years on the same clutch. Unless u don't have 1st gear! Lol
