Day Automotive out of Kansas City. Different than Day Motorsports. This guy looks like he is gonna back up his stuff. Here a link to a video....

Shortens the tie rod to make it similar to the length of the lower control arm. Helps reduce bump steer.

58" floater setup for a metric car. Looks just like a Winters Grand National in the Speedway catalog but the axle caps say ACE. Excellent, straight, complete, rearend with brakes and 31 spline axles....

I ran a stock bottom end, 5.565 rod, 400 for the past two years in a 'factory' stock class (nothing factory about 'em). It's what I had to run and we won a few races with it. Turned it around 6500....

Caster or a caster split does help driver feel on turn in and counter steer. There is some weight jacking effect with running more or less caster but it's probably one of the last things I would use...

Check the power valve or swap it out. It's probably blown. ie way too rich at idle but plenty of fuel to make power.

Usually the problem with AR's is getting enough stagger out of 'em to get the thing to turn. You can gain stagger on the RR by putting about 40psi in it and setting it out in the sun the day of the...

After a little research it looks like this carb is an 0-8156. The boosters are loose in it so I think I'm going to have them replaced and put it back together. JDR is right up the road and said he...

I just switched to Kendall in my 355. I've ran Valvoline VR1 for years but after the first night of racing I would always loose 10-15 lbs of oil pressure and hot after the race the thing would...

I'd check it out and run it! My motors always hold good pressure cold and drop of to 15 or 20 lbs. after the race. It's not a street motor! It won't hold 60lbs hot and live very long.

I have a speedway special on my car right now. The motor is raised about an 1.5" and it barely clears the cross member and drag link. I've also got a leaker like others have described. Not bad but...

I like the outerwear but I quite using it last year. Tired of cleaning it and the K&N. One thing I did notice when the outerwear got dirty that as I reved the motor I could see it collapsing...

What is a 1/4 mile track? We run a 650 at 3 different tracks in the area and only turn about 300 rpm difference. One is high banked and claims to be a 1/4, one is medium banked and claims to be 3/8...

The carb I'm running right now is borrowed and I'm needing to build one. I've got a carb that is an annular booster double pumper with 4 corner idle and dual power valves. Someone has done some...

Got 'er all hooked up and I will tell ya the DUI I was running ain't got nothin' on this! Unhooked the coil wire just to see if I had everything hooked up correctly and it was throwing bright blue...

As long as the -(dash) numbers are the same and they are true AN fitting, I think the flare is like 37 degrees, your ok. Plumbing fittings are like 45 degree flares.

I have the Ford coil I was planning on running. After reading through some of the Techwest articles they recommend an alternator also. Anyone do that? I have rarely seen it. We ran 'em on dwarf...

Thanks C10. I'm haveing a hard time realizing why the power and ground need to go directly to the battery and not the + side of the noid. Won't it see the same spikes at the battery that it will 10...

I've always ran HEI's, DUI modules and distributors, and they have been pretty reliable. I've traded for an 85551 distributor and a 6AL set up off a street car. What are my advantages to running...
